A Prophetic Vision

As received via email by revivalschool.com today:

JOEL's ARMY & GIDEON's ARMY - A VISION
-by Robert I. Holmes.

There is a commonly held belief in the church that the army of Joel and the army of Gideon both represent the same end time, militant and victorious church. My intention here is not so much to examine the theological foundations of such arguments, but to share a revelation I had recently which seems to contradict this understanding. I am fully convinced that the Lord is preparing his Bride for these last days. As part of this preparation I believe He is preparing an end time army. Not an army who will take over the world and set up the political system Christ will rule in (called Dominion Theology) but rather, a militant and victorious church who shall defeat the hordes of Hell.

The VISION.

In late October 1996 I had a startling vision. I was looking down from a high place and I saw a mighty army. It was marching in a long line, like a great column snaking through the jungle. It looked for all the world like a serpent. At it's head was a banner, which read "Joel's' army". Behind them they left a swath of destruction, a road of sorts cut through the jungle. I was made aware that this army was 'now marching' or had already mobilised.

I also saw off to one side, hidden in dense undergrowth, a battalion. This group stood quietly, waiting in the jungle. They were assembled in a square, and they were awaiting instructions. At the head of this smaller group was a banner which read "Gideon's army".

Then I looked and saw a single platoon, off to the side of the battalion. It stood divided. I looked carefully at this group, feeling at first that it represented the local body of believers I belonged to at the time. They were standing in mud, in two ranks facing each other. The Spirit expressly said, "Many have passed through their ranks" and I began to realise they were (are) the prophets. These troops were stuck in the mud, and had not moved on for some time.

JOEL's ARMY.

Joel's army has been promoted widely as being a good army, an army of the church. Many songs, sung in Pentecostal and mainline Evangelical churches even quote the warrior Scriptures as relating to the church. However I do not hold to that understanding. To me, Joel's army is one of terrible locusts, "a great and powerful army... before them is like Eden, after them is desolate" (Joel 2:2,3). This is similar to the picture I had. Joel says they are "a powerful army, drawn up for battle, before them the nations are in anguish" (5,6). Why are the nations terrified of this army? Because they are an instrument of judgement.

Note that the Scripture does not say, "God's enemies are in anguish before them." Nor does it imply that the devil is afraid of them. It is the nations who are afraid. This army is made up of "the cutting locust... the swarming locust... the hopping locust... the destroying locust" (Joel 1:4). This is not a picture of the Bride of Christ. Evidently the army first destroys or brings judgement against God's own people because later in the book of Joel, God consoles His people saying, "I will repay YOU for the years the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer and the cutter, that great army I sent against you" (Joel 2:25).

This is clearly God's instrument of judgement against both his church and the nations (peoples), not a great or good army in the church! The passages relating to Joel's army confuse some, because it is said that the Lord is at the head of HIS army. He is in control of them. But that no more makes them the church than it made Babylon or Assyria the church! Jeremiah depicts Babylon as God's own instrument, his servant (Jer 25:9), just as Isaiah depicts Assyria as being a weapon in God's hand (Isa 7:20). God used them, as He uses the army depicted by Joel, to berate and scold an unrepentant Israel. In the same way, Joel's army is marching in the end times, to scold and rebuke, to consume and devour the unregenerate church.

I was impressed that this army was "now marching". There is only one globally significant move underfoot at this time. It has already affected many churches, denominations and groups. I have previously labelled it the "Blessing Movement"- It's 'streams' are severally identifiable as Howard Browne Ministries, the Toronto Blessing, Sunderland Outpouring and Pensacola Revival. This is, to me, one and the same movement in various forms.

GIDEON's ARMY

The second army I saw however, portrays an altogether different picture. Here is an army fully prepared, awaiting instruction. It is not yet mobile. The battalion (in military terms about 10,000 men) was labelled Gideon's army. It represents the refined, the chosen, the remnant church. This second army is not yet marching. They are stable, focused, balanced and awaiting instruction. They have NOT been given their marching orders! Gideon and his men were exhorted: "Go in this might of yours and deliver Israel... I will be with you and you shall strike down the Midianites" (Judg 6:14,15). Note there is an explicit command to strike down the enemies of Israel, or for the church, the devil and his powers- not the church!

As I read through the account of Gideon in Judges 6-8 several things strike me about them. If this army is a picture of the remnant, then it will help to see what they had, and what they did. Firstly, they were twice refined. At first a great number of men gathered to fight (32,000 in all). During the first purging the Lord removed those who had the fear of man. This took their number down to 10,000. In my vision I saw the battalion (10,000 men) labelled as Gideon's army. This seems to indicate that the assembling battalion has already been refined of the fear of man. The second purging Gideon's army underwent was to remove those who trusted in their own strength. This took their number down to 300. The present Gideon's army (the one of my vision) may expect this second purging next.

I should say at this point that it is my understanding that the 'end time' army of God, the militant church making war on the enemies of the kingdom and taking ground for Christ will be made of many companies. Just one of these companies is Gideon's. Others have seen and labelled such companies as the Isaiah 57 company, the Elijah force and the warriors of Gilead. Perhaps these are all part of the same picture?

The next thing we notice about Gideon's army (and from now on these things are to come to the Gideon army gathered today) is that they were fewer in number than would be expected. Their number was so few in fact, that the move of God could not be blamed on them! The glory could only go to God and Israel would not be able to boast about the strength of her right arm. This fits well with my vision, as the assembled crowd represented only one battalion, not a whole army. The mighty triumphs and victories destined for this group can only be laid at the feet of Jesus.

In their first battle, Gideon moved only according to God's command. It was at God's initiative, at His request and by His plan only. It was interesting that as an army, they carried no swords! How could they possibly win the battle without weapons? Their battle cry was "a sword for the Lord and Gideon" (7:20) and the enemy "feared the sword of Gideon"(7:13). Yet in actual fact their hands were full. They went into battle with a shofar in one hand (trumpet) and fire in jars in the other.

The shofar symbolises the prophetic clarion or the watchmen, used to sound the alarm and awaken the city. The fire in jars may well speak of this very great treasure we have within us, this precious truth about Christ which shall demonstrate his very great power: "we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it may be made clear that this extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us." (2 Cor. 4:7). Likewise the secret to our warfare is also that the weapons of our battle are not merely carnal, they are divine to the tearing down of strongholds (2 Cor 10:4).

THE SONS of EPHRAIM

After winning an amazing victory in their first battle, Gideon's army pressed the defeated enemy far into the Northern region. They passed through into the land of Ephraim, toward Penuel. The inhabitants of this region - the sons of Ephraim, were accomplished soldiers. Over the years they had managed successive enlargements of their territory, and were powerful enough by Isaiah's time for him to even call them the Northern Kingdom! (Isa 7:28,29). They had defeated the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb (Jud 8:3) and were furious that Gideon had left them out of the battle!

Gideon must have considered taking such fine fighting men along to rout the enemy, yet we read that he proceeded on without them (v 4). Whilst Gideon acknowledges their superior strength in battle (Judg 8:2), he in fact uses this as a way of diplomatically declining their implied offer of help. He proceeds without the prestigious fighters. It would have been tempting to take them along in his battle.

Who are these sons of Ephraim, and what might they represent to the present vision of the army of Gideon? Ephraim was the second son of Joseph. Joseph blessed him with his right hand, and placed him over his brother Manassah (Gen 48:13) signifying that he would be greater. From the beginning of the tribe, Ephraim gained a place of honour and prestige. Several notable leaders came from the tribe or region - Joshua, Samuel, Jeroboam, Tola and Deborah.

They had a special place in God's heart, until their rebellion against the house of David. He states, "I am the father to Israel and Ephraim is my first born" (Jer 31:6). Similarly "Gilead is mine, and Manassah is mine, but Ephraim is my helmet and Judah my sceptre" (Psa 60:7). They had several of the ancient and blessed places of worship, including Bethel, Shiloh and Shechem within their borders.

There were, and are many good reasons to bring along people who seem to have a fruitful ministry (the name Ephraim means "fruitful place" in Hebrew). They may have prestige, they may have power, they may be experienced in battle and spiritual warfare, they may have ruled in the previous moves of God, yet we like Gideon should deny their aide. Gideon did not choose their help at all. They do indeed have a special place in God's heart and plan, but not in His present plan for the army of Gideon. They are to rout the enemy with the help of Jehovah alone!

The PROPHETIC 'STUCK-IN-THE-MUDS'.

Finally, the group I saw off to the side of Gideon's army represents, I believe, the prophets. One important point of my vision was that they were divided. They stood separated from each other, and in at least two rows facing each other. The Lord said, "Many have passed through their ranks". I am reminded of the Scripture which speaks of the coming unity among the prophets: "your watchmen shall lift up their voices, with their voices they shall sing together; for they shall see eye to eye when the Lord brings back Zion" (Isa 52:8 NKJV).

It is my experience that, by and large, prophetic persons are loners. Or at least they have a tendency to stay inward. They retract from too much publicity. Camaraderie among prophetic groups is a rare treasure indeed. In Australia especially, prophetic ministries tend to be individualist, elitist and aloof. But we can trust in the Scripture that as the Lord restores Zion, the watchmen shall gather together in harmony and unity. This is something to be overcome in Him.

Mud represents, at it's most basic level, wet earth. Earth or dust is the fabric which man is made from. Mud may therefore represent worldliness, or earthliness which taints prophetic ministry. Mud in Scripture is also associated with wickedness (Isa 57:20) and uncleanliness (2 Pet 2:22). Being stuck in the mud up to the boot straps indicates the many ways in which the prophetic ministry has become tainted. Many groups have become attached to worldliness, and the keeping of position and power. Others of us have become proud, and others just plain sinful. Of all this we must repent, and be cleansed.

The prophetic band I saw were stuck in the mud, being not only tainted, but obviously trapped. Jeremiah used this analogy in warning the people of Israel that they faced captivity to Babylon since they had failed to head his warning. He warned, "this is what the LORD has shown me - a vision of all the women remaining in the house of the king of Judah being led out to the officials of the king of Babylon and saying, 'Your trusted friends have seduced you and have overcome you; Now that your feet are stuck in the mud, they desert you.' All your wives and your children shall be led out to the Chaldeans, and you yourself shall not escape from their hand, but shall be seized by the king of Babylon; and this city shall be burned with fire." (Jer 38:21-23).

Being stuck in the mud means to become trapped, and left open to being pillaged by the enemy, Jeremiah is basically saying to the captives of Jerusalem, "because of your sin, rebellion and failure to listen to God, you are trapped and shall be not only deserted, but carried away by the enemy. What a tragedy for the prophetic ministries! My vision, lastly, is a warning that we must clean up, and move on. We must not pretend we are clean when in fact we are dirty. The call of the hour for those who call themselves prophetic is 'holiness unto the Lord'. Holy so that we may prepare and join the gathering, training, waiting army of Gideon in battle.

The Lines Are Drawn

The Lakeland Florida revival has brought much controversy and several issues affront to the Church. For that part we can be thankful; as false prophets have abounded there like a dime a dozen and have become visible as a swarm of locusts. I know a “prophet” who personally lives there and supports the revival, and I wrote to him recently pointing out some of the error, and urged him to repent and turn from this. People are beginning to see this deception in the church, the corruption of the new apostolic and prophetic leadership (the NAR constituency) which are injecting new age poison into the flock.

"Who is on the Lord’s side?" asked Moses.

EXODUS 32:15-26
15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.
16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.
17 And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.
18 And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and broke them beneath the mount.
20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strewed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it .
21 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?
22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.
23 For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.
24 And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.
25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)
26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

What is the calf today? Money, idolatrous apostles and prophets, NAR theology, “power”, recognition and prestige among their peers…Really, the scenario above is similar to the drunken swaggering events of the Lakeland revival.

"Make us gods, have the “prophet” wave his hand upon my forehead, to anoint me so I can do great exploits. We know not what becometh God, do some miracles in your own power, and in your own might for we believe you know God."

Right there, the door opens for the demonic to step into the deceived person’s life. This revival is really big bucks with really big names. It was initially scheduled for five days, but was it planned for five days? I tell you what, I don’t believe it. I believe these people planned in advance to line their pockets fast and hard, right down to the timing of the release of their books which coincided with the revival. Coincidence? Greedy and idolatrous they are. Now, ATM machines are in the tent so people can withdraw hard earned money to impart money to these conning leeches.

We have become a microwave Church. I perceive some of these false prophets knowingly embrace the occult. People think they can insert a coin in God’s hand, and He will do a jig for them and crank out third heaven portal experiences. What they get instead is demonic oppression and divining spirits. Then the question becomes, are they better for it or worse? The answer is obvious.

MATTHEW 12:43-45

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

God still heals today. He can meet your need where you are. You don’t need an impartation from Hell from a false prophet, you need Jesus Christ. Stand on His Word and His promises.

God is using this scamming circus in Lakeland, Florida to open up the eyes of His people. And yes, He has set forth prophets and apostles in the Church, and if they cannot see through this demonic scam, you should not follow them or support them! There are true prophetic voices rising up against this charade! The lines are indeed being drawn, the real versus the fake, the deceived versus those standing on a solid foundation. You will find many of the false prophets standing on New Apostolic Reformation theology. It is sad; most have been deceived by seducing spirits, and have believed these lies for years, and are blinded to this deception. I am hopeful some will come out from this, and will be delivered by God. We must continue to pray for them. Yet, even sadder, some of these people will see through this falsehood, and still make a choice not to follow the Truth. I would not want to be in their shoes standing face to face with Jesus Christ before His throne.

Holy Lives And Compromise

I believe when someone becomes born again God begins to immediately deal with them on certain things. How you view things begin to change as well. I began to examine my life to see if there was any way unpleasing to the Lord. It was and it is His Holy Spirit within me which fostered these changes. It was not myself in my own efforts, yet it took a decision on my part to yield to Him and implement changes.

God is Holy. He does not change (Malachi 3:6). Somehow, someway, in the midst of all the praise and worship, with all the technological advances, with all the new ways we can obtain and disseminate the Word of God; people have lost sight of having a reverential fear of God. Some of this irreverence can be attributed to bad leadership in the Church. A holy respect of Him demands treating Him as the Holy God He is, and ourselves living unto holiness. Holiness is not an act of the outward appearance, although one should dress decently and in a non-provocative manner. It involves separating ourselves from the clean and the unclean, and from holy and the profane. It is keeping ourselves from the things of the world. This is not legalism, as the Word of God is plain about what is required of us:

James 4:4
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

James is referring to spiritual adultery above.

Romans 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

“Desperate Housewives”, and other trash television does not belong in a Christian’s life. I know someone who argues nudity is ok, even in biblical films, because it is an expression of art and sex which is a normal human fact. This is humanistic reasoning, not of God. God commands decency, and He is clear on the issues the world exalts in trash movies and trash television. It might be “make believe”, but if God hates those things and warns us that such issues are sin, why would He excuse it in media? Is He going to say, “oh, ok…this is just pretend sin, therefore, I shall discount it?” It is at best an insult to Him to even think this way.

You got leadership out there which wants to accommodate everyone. Compromisers. Can I resist this? For example, leadership like we see in the Lakeland, Florida revival. This kind of leadership is wordly, sensual, and some of it is new age. Leadership which demands God perform for them; rather than they perform for God. Are these leaders demonstrating holy lives, or do they act like the world? Oh, my bad. I should say they act out of this world…maybe beneath the earth. I could not resist that one either.

Ezekiel 44:23
And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

We are called to separate ourselves, and to be downright weird by worldly standards. You got leaders who smell, look, and act like the world, and say “tis so we can win the lost”. Yet, upon closer examination, these are not calling for true revival, nor are they calling out to the lost. They are in air-conditioned seminars, buying and selling cds and dvds, talking about God restoring the apostolic and prophetic back to the Church. I believe it never left it, at least not the NT one. People, as they always have done for centuries have discounted the true prophetic voices out there. The true prophetic will tell you the things you don’t want to hear. They are the “Elijahs”, not the imitation cheese processed ones associated with the Lakeland Florida revival. They are not popular. They don’t try to generate miracles in their own strength (which simply invokes demonic powers), and are not flashy. They do not talk an easy message. Ok, ok, I lost my original point.

Music. Some of these Christians bands are new age, and just use the term “Christian”. You can tell from the lyrics or lack of lyrics. I have heard Christian dance music with NO mention of God. ZERO. And with scantily clothed women on the cd covers at that. There is heavy metal music talking of death and demons, worms, or whatever, but where is Jesus in it? Satan always slips in the back door, looking like a well dressed harlot. He does not come in obvious. Now I am not opposed to Christian rock. There are a lot of good decent bands out there, such as the Newsboys, which exalt the Lord mightily.

What did we do before television, dvds, games, and radio? There are people out there who cannot stand silence, cannot operate without some form of media in the backgrounds of the home, workplace or wherever they may be. I really believe it has been one of the methods satan has used to keep unbelievers from thinking about the meaning of their lives. It is a constant form of distraction from bigger issues. And even for some believers, they cannot go without entertainment, even from Christian television. A lot of these things, even televised church, has taken on the form of entertainment. Cameras roll, singers and dancers come forth, a collection, then brother so and so, a word from a false prophet or two, another collection, and ‘we will see ya next week’.

What is concerning me is too many people are trying to make God what “they want” Him to be. We can see His character from His Word. He is awesomely Holy. People would fall as dead before His presence. People ministered to Him, not to themselves to the beat of the band and rolling cameras. Now you got people out there which flippantly talk of the anointing, and demonstrating a lack of respect towards Him. They think its endearing to speak their Christian slang, because it generates mass appeal. Somehow, God has become secondary in all of this. It takes a hard look at it, but I do believe, a lot of times people think they are exalting Him, but instead they simply are exalting themselves or their ministries.

I Peter 1:15-16
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

1 Corinthians 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

1 Thessalonians 4:3-4
3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor;

Come and Get “Some”

Come and get “some”? “Some” of what? Who is “some”? You cheap hucksters, could you be talking about the Lord God Almighty, the King of Kings Himself?

Come and get “some”…BBQ? A piece of whoredom? Something sexual?

He is a Holy God. Holy. Not a “some”. “Some” is not part of His character. What you charlatans speak of in this revival is not Him. The “some” is you.

Therefore, the question is what is “some” in the light of that context?

“Some” is an anointing straight from Hell.
“Some” is sapphire dust and Crisco oil dvds in the foyer.
“Some” is lying signs and wonders to titillate the senses, and reaches the pocket books.
“Some” is a rocking good time til our heads swim, and we think we feel His Presence.
“Some” is a state of temporary euphoria to divert the pain in our bodies.

You think you respect Him, but you respect yourselves more. You charlatans, you regard yourselves higher than Him. You dilute the Word, and discard the Truth…and spin a tale around it. Then you try to call this charade in Lakeland Florida a revival. You have become a parade of devils. You will read this and laugh at it, and say “we do God service”. NO, you do yourselves service. You might fool thousands, even yourselves, but He cannot be fooled. He is looking for those to worship Him in spirit and in Truth. These want the Spirit (I must say some want His Spirit—not all there do), but they do not want the Truth.

A Few Facts On Bald Eagles

Thought I would lighten up a bit and change the subject matter. I am someone who really appreciates the things God has given to us through nature, and I like looking at nature photos. In the animal kingdom, I particularly like bald eagles, as they are so majestic, so regal, and downright tough! One day, when all things work together, I plan to go to Alaska. From what is seen of it through videos and photos, it is one of the most beautiful places on the earth. I want to share a link to a wildlife web cam, because watching a pair of eagles raise their young can be a once in a lifetime event. Here are some very interesting facts on bald eagles.

*Bald eagles are monogamous.
*Their wingspans range 72 to 90 inches.
*They are renowned for their excellent eyesight.
*The average bald eagle has around 7,000 feathers!
*Bald eagles can dive up to 150 to 200 mph.
*Some bald eagles nests have weighed as much as two tons!
*When a bald eagle loses a feather on one wing,
it loses a matching one on the other wing, to keep balanced.

Eagles are occasionally mentioned in the Word of God, in both positive and negative ways. Personally, I just like them simply because they are awesome and interesting creatures. Only about a year ago--June 28, 2007, were they taken off the "Enangered Species List". The web cam can be visited here: Go to cam

Manifest Sons of God & NAR Falsehoods

I will not go into detail why I aligned myself to a particular apostolic prophetic network about 5 or so years ago; but I would like to present a word of caution for all who are contemplating supporting or volunteering for any ministry. Do your homework on the ministry and its alliances. Also, because someone "seems" more spiritual, and more "mature" in the faith; simply does not make it so. I never questioned the alliances of the network I was involved with, or its leader, because I assumed he was more "spiritual". And it was not until after I left its evil clutches that I found out about the New Apostolic Reformation group and its faulty theology. As I learn more about them, not only it is clear they operate in gross error, but indeed, elements of new age thought and practices accompany many of the NAR constituency. And it seems with each passing day I learn of things I never heard of.

I am enclosing a link to an interesting web page describing "The Manifest Sons of God" movement, and some of the new age components of the apostolic prophetic movement. It is beyond heresy in many areas, it is downright apostasy. Keep in mind, believers in the supernatural power of God, true prophets, true apostles, and godly leaders are beginning to come out against the gross error of this movement. I am taking a cited excerpt from hungryheartministries.com and pasting it here, but take a look on this site, as it has a lot of good material on it:

The teaching that in the last days, a "new breed" of Christians will arise--the "Manifest Sons of God"--who will have super-natural spiritual power and be instrumental in subduing the earth. This movement is also referred to as "Joel's Army."

It is claimed that these people will be perfected into their "glorified bodies" prior to Christ's return. That perfection will allow them to subdue the earth for Jesus. Proponents of this doctrine also claim Christians, having a "divine nature," become "gods." They say Christ came into us as a "seed" and grows into a "prophet." Thus Christ does not physically return, but returns within us. The rapture, according to this doctrine, will be of the wicked--not of believers.

This teaching is part of what is known as 'dominion theology' which teaches that an elite army of 'overcomers' will either destroy or subdue all the enemies of Christ until they eventually gain power and authority throughout the world. The government of the nations will be upon their shoulders and when all the secular authorities, governments, princes and kings have finally submitted to them, Christ will return and they will present the kingdom to him.

Vanity of vanities. There is no biblical foundation to such nonsense. These folks twist the Word, and seduce their prey. Stick with the Word and not man-made doctrines and interpretations. For more in depth reading and articles on this topic, click here.

New Age Apostolic Prophetic Groups

Given the healing revival recently in Lakeland, Florida, it is time to write of some of the things the new apostolic prophetic leadership types are advocating. As I said before, not all of them advocate new age techniques, but those following the tenets of the New Apostolic Reformation theology; you had better watch out for such! Already, a choice has been made to follow man-made doctrine over the Word of God; because the NAR offers new spins on the Word. Consequently, more power can be attributed to apostolic prophetic groups which increasingly abuse their “power”, while their leadership lack character and integrity. Devil spits in the eye of such, and they think they have a 'seer anointing' because an eagle flew over their house and pooped on their car simultaneously.

What are some of the characteristic of this group?

1. An inordinate and polluted emphasis on apostolic and prophetic power.
2. Major problems dealing with people, particularly on the outside, as well as within their own niche.
3. Adding and detracting from the written Word of God
4. Emphasis on new age techniques in their ministries like those associated to the Lakeland, Florida revival.
5. Lack of fruit, and excess of merchandise.
6. False prophecies galore.
7. Manipulation of those subjected to their leadership.
8. Isolation by “calling”, as they tend to keep themselves in apostolic and prophetic circles, and limit contact outside of it (poor blokes, no one understands them…wonder why?)
9. Lack of pure Word. They usually talk of things pertaining to individual interpretations from visions or so-called prophecies from themselves, and they sprinkle a little Word on it. Naturally, satan always has a few who will offer confirmation to their demonically inspired prophecies.

In Joshua 1:8, we find this scripture: "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

This group gives new meaning to the word “meditation”, and some have distorted the scripture above for their benefit; and furthermore, for their online stores. The Oxford Dictionary defines "transcendental meditation as: "a technique for detaching oneself from anxiety and promoting harmony and self-realization by meditation and repetition of a mantra." Today in the new age apostolic prophetic circles, there is an emphasis on using guided imagery and meditation to produce visions. It too involves detaching oneself. Some have become skilled in channeling, whether unknowingly or knowingly. Not only are spirits of divination operating in them; they believe these divining spirits to be the voice of God; but it is a spirit guide which leads them.

Jeremiah 14:14
Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spoke unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of naught, and the deceit of their heart.

Now how godly is that? Would not the Almighty Creator impart visions to those He chooses in His own way, in His own time, and where He wants it to happen? Instead, you got a group of false apostles and prophets who seek these things out through man-made demonically inspired methods in their own strength. And they get something alright, but it is not from God! Then they publish it in newsletters and churn out cds and dvds to further prostitute their demonically inspired ministries. They speak of “soaking”, "mystics", yet what they are absorbing is devils and doctrines of devils. The leaders advocating this malarkey are sensual, walking by sight. Many are cons, and although some may be deceived, it’s not going to be excused. Don’t be fooled.

You will not find the real prophets and apostles in the midst of new age junk and one has to wonder could any real prophet be actually remain caught up in the NAR. Those advocating such things, or advocating ministries which practice such things, stay far away from.

The Florida Outpouring--Led By False Prophets

Watch and weep for those caught up in this. Pray our brothers and sisters will break free, and turn from this demonic scheme. The Lakeland revival is instituted and ran by false prophets, it is a demonic facade by the enemy, AND IS GROSS ERROR! Do not listen to their lies--they will lie and say you are religious, and that you are putting God in a box. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE NEW RELIGIOUS SYSTEM AND THEY ARE PUTTING GOD IN A BOX! They disregard the Word of God and His sovereignty. DONT BE DECEIVED!!!

Touch Not My Anointed

If you believe in Jesus Christ, the anointing abides in you. His Spirit lives in you.

I John 2:26-27
26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Is it not sad to see the following scripture (below) twisted and misused over and over again by unscrupulous people? Particularly the new apostolic prophetic leadership.

I Chronicles 16:22
22 Saying , Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

False apostles and prophets love to parrot this. They yield this scripture as an instrument of fear over the sheep they say which need them oh so badly. Their leadership will simply lead more of the body of Christ into gross error and possibly into Hell. Too many in this bunch have given way to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.

Yes. I have said this before. And I will keep on saying it. Do we need leadership like this? I think not. Not the counterfeit. Not the greedy and idolatrous.

Young people watch out!!! Parents guard your teenagers from this bunch! Guard yourselves from this bunch!!! There are apostolic and prophetic wolves in your mist!

Are all apostles and prophets wolves? Are they all false? By no means no! The Word of God says you will know them by their fruits. Also, when you see the type of error as we see from this bunch in Lakeland, Florida and their constituency; there is a knowing in our spirits something is awry. Their rotten fruits: to glorify man, deception, power, counterfeit miracles, selling goods, shameless name dropping and pimping, prophetic worship dance—(duh—an invention indeed), impartation of devils, false healings, …Sadly, these false ones warn against false prophets themselves, but would not recognize the real if it came up and bit them on the nose. Their false prophetic and apostolic networks embrace fellow members to be real...and they do have a kinship in the spirit realm. Their spirits bear witness with each other, but not of a true prophetic kind. Examine the apostolic prophetic networks and you will see much overlap with the false prophets—a certain connection. They not only whore out their own agendas, but they pimp each other’s agendas. And the real which are coming out against them--they will call false. In fact, if their own mothers came out against them, they will assert them false as well.

I have discussed their manipulative traits before. See “The New Apostolic Movement”. They try to rule by fear and intimidation, and they speak a humble speech while drenched in pride. They are arrogant, boasters, speak great swelling words---oh so spiritual via revelation and interpretation and enlightenment. One well known “prophet seer” claims to be Elijah—and this is advocating reincarnation! Watch these folks! They constantly put a new spin on the Word through demonic visions and dreams, and say “The Lord says”. Yet He has not sent them.

Jeremiah 23:31-32
31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

II Peter 2:17-22
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest: to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever.
18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Look at the apostolic prophetic networks out there, the “Third Wave groupies”, the people associated to the Lakeland revival. Google it up, and you will see the same names appearing on website to website; networked, and pimped up to go! From these stay away! They are an idolatrous and self-serving group, leading people into New Age concepts, and totally void of holiness. Holiness, humility, service, repentance, these are just buzz words in their circles. Their idea of service is going to seminars, and promoting the apostolic and prophetic. They desire to tell other members of the Church you need their guidance and you lack supernatural experiences, thus you must buy their wares! People look up to them because they believe this group yields a more powerful anointing. They are a manipulative force. Many are con men. They don’t treat people right, especially those they so arrogantly perceive not to be their equals. News flash: God is no respecter of persons, and we have NOTHING good which has not been gvien to us by HIM!

The new apostolic prophetic movement is mostly comprised of idolatrous false prophets and charlatans. There are some deceived in this movement which I believe God is going to call out. We must pray for this blinding fog to come off them. I almost became a causality to serving such a ministry myself, but blessed be the King of Kings, He pulled me out of it. My biggest mistake was not doing my homework on the ministry I was aligned with, and not staying in the Word like I should. And believe me, I will endeavor myself to even test the very things I been believing for some years now.

This is a subtle and deceptive group. Remember, there are atheistic professors out there who know more word than a lot Christians, and can quote it too. Are they saved just because they can quote the Word? The apostolic and prophetic players are all about their latest revelations, trying to get the praise of others in their circles, appearing prophetic, selling their latest wares all in the name of saying we must lead the church. They have become a weapon in the hand of the enemy, but God is raising up true voices. Real voices are rising up yielding a sword of their own--- the Word of God spoken in truth. Not twisted for recognition. No puff of smoke or jerking limbs needed. God, in His Almighty Wisdom, has taken the prostituted revival in Lakeland to give the church a wake up call to the counterfeit and to alert the world to deception from the apostolic prophetic machine.

This group of people have become sensual, looking to feel something…looking to see something. Other believers are attracted to this too, and this group loves to exclaim “we are hungry for God”. I will break it on down for you. If you were truly hungry for God you would recognize His sovereignty. You would seek Him over third heaven experiences and not get the two confused. You would value truth more then your man made ministries. You would not equate hunger for God with supernatural experiences. It is a walk of faith, not a walk by senses via third heaven experiences and sparkles.

Many of these people are channeling, operating in divination, transcendental meditation, all in the name of Jesus Christ. Dangerous and deceptive they are. Stay away from such.

Prophetic Word-The Church Of The USA...

"THE CHURCH of the USA will be FILTERED BY DECEPTION"
-given by Steven Dobbs (U.K.), 2005.

I received this from the Holy Spirit in early summer 2005. The Lord showed me that there is going to be a flood of deception* infiltrating much of the U.S church in the near future, (the gift of discernment of spirits is therefore going to become increasingly important). Why the Lord will allow these deceptions: I was extremely disheartened by this as the U.K receives a lot of help from some good U.S ministries and there are close links between these two nations.

The Spirit then ministered to me again and showed me that God was sovereign and that this was His will. I saw that although this increase in deception will test the Christians in the U.S.A. It will also filter the global church from the less reliable U.S teaching ministries and reduce their influence in the global body of Christ.

Many of the world's largest and best known teaching ministries come from the U.S.A. I was shown that many were propagating poor, badly emphasized or erroneous teachings. The Lord showed me that He could not allow them to continue influencing the worldwide church as they are at present. This is because we will soon be entering into the end times and this season will test the faith of all of us. God therefore wants His people to be prepared for this with good teachings that have the same emphasis as found in the New Testament.

The filtering process: I was shown that the ministers that teach errors or a poor emphasis will also tend to have this reflected in their own walk with God. They will not therefore be rooted very deeply into the truth themselves even though many of them may be well known teachers or preachers. These people will therefore tend to be amongst those most open to this flood of deception. When exposed to such deception many of them will start to move in increased spiritual error and folly as a result. Many will get deceived as they fail to discern the difference between which
spiritual phenomena are of the Lord and which are counterfeit and from the enemy. Their true spiritual maturity will then be revealed for all to see.

Many other Christians from around the world, those who are able to discern these things better, will then start to question the maturity and teachings of such ministries. They will start to look more closely at these teachings and notice the errors and wrong emphases that already exist, errors that they had not noticed
before. People will then start to turn away from the worst teachers and listen instead to those who are teaching the full council of God in line with the whole of scripture. The overall level of teaching in the global body of Christ will improve as a result of this.

How this will realign ministries: The ministries which have the poorest levels of teaching will become less popular around the world as a result of this. Those teaching ministries that are the most mature and have the best quality teaching will become more popular than before. The overall quality of teaching ministries in
the global body of Christ will therefore improve as a result of this filtering effect.

The "prosperity gospel": God showed me that one of the main teachings that He is concerned about is that which has become known as the "prosperity gospel". Although truths are taught within this I understood that errors and wrong emphases are taught as well. At present this teaching has a great deal of influence in the global body of Christ. This results in many believers around the world taking on board the errors and wrong emphases contained within it. I saw that the Lord does not want this situation to continue. We are heading into the end times in the near future and God wants us to be strong, built up with good, solid teachings that prepare us for the difficulties we are going to encounter and the sacrifices we may have to make to follow Christ.

A realigning of national churches at a global level: The Lord wants those national churches that are submitting the most to Him to have the greatest proportion of well known ministries at a global level. The Spirit showed me that at present the U.S.A is over-represented by such ministries. This filtering process will reduce the number of influential U.S ministries on the world stage. At the same time, other ministries from other nations will become more popular and will increase in influence as a result of this. The overall church of the U.S.A will also therefore lose some of its influence within the global body of Christ because of this filtering. The churches of some other nations, (those that have been submitting the most to Christ), will, however, see an increase in their influence in the global church.

This is God's will and the global body of Christ will be strengthened as a result. The Lord wants the body of Christ to be led by, and follow the example of, the best international ministries. He also wants the global church to be influenced the most by those national churches that are submitting the most to Jesus.

The better ministries from the U.S.A: I was then shown a picture of a vessel of milk which had cream floating to the top of it. The interpretation was that as this filtering takes place, and the overall level of deception* increases in the U.S church, the better U.S ministries will then come to the forefront at a global level. I understood that many of these were presently only medium sized ministries because their popularity was presently overshadowed by some larger but poorer quality U.S ministries. I saw that many of these medium sized ministries already have a better walk with the Lord and that they would therefore be less likely to be influenced by the coming flood of deception. They will be seen to be mature as they discern and avoid these deceptions. In due course this will vindicate them and earn them respect from other believers from around the world. Their ministries will then become more popular and grow in influence because of this. I saw that some of them will then start to minister and preach at the highest levels on the world stage within the body of Christ in the future.

*I understand "deception" to mean all sorts of counterfeits of the Holy Spirit. These will include counterfeit moves of God's power which will come from other spirits, from New Age/occult spirits, counterfeit healings and miracles even, false teachings, false prophecies, counterfeit visions from the enemy, counterfeit experiences of heaven, fake appearances of Jesus and, please note, many counterfeit appearances of angels which will really be fallen angels come to deceive any believers who are open to them. Of course Christians can have such experiences genuinely from the Lord but there is also going to be an increase in these
counterfeits as we move towards the end-times, as the enemy attempts to "deceive if possible even the elect", (Matt 24;24).

*Concerning the U.S church, this increase in deception will have its entitlement at a national/ corporate level. We should not therefore see any deception as a judgement on individuals themselves. At a personal level some believers will be more
exposed to these deceptions than others for reasons that are not necessarily their fault, e.g. if they happen to be in a church where the enemy is moving in a lot of deception. I believe, though, that those whose hearts are set to follow Christ will eventually come through any serious deception if they persevere in following the
Lord and keep on submitting to Him.

At an international level, though, this wave of enemy deception will expose and reduce the global influence of the worst U.S ministries and will bring about the realignment of national churches and ministries that God desires. It will improve the quality of teaching and the quality of the most well known ministries at an international level. This is due to God's sovereignty, and will strengthen the global body of Christ and prepare God's people for the difficult years ahead.

Extra Sensual Perception

Most people reading this blog are born-again Christians. That is you have likely made a decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. A decision was made and you were translated out of the clutches of satan’s kingdom unto the Kingdom of God:

Colossians: 1:12-14

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Think back to the day you accepted Jesus Christ. The over whelming majority of you felt nothing, saw nothing such as a flash of lightening, but almost every one of you with a true salvation experience noticed you changed. A tremendous miracle occurred, and you received the Spirit of God and left the kingdom of darkness. And people who knew you before noted how you changed as well, particularly if you came from a family which did not know anything about the Living God.

Isaiah 9:2
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

Acts 26:18
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Ephesians 5
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

As we look at current events happening in the Christian community, we see a sector stressing a walk by supernatural manifestations as oppose to a walk by faith. Indeed, this group advocates that if you are not seeing supernatural manifestations, you are not close to God. This is sensual, and is demonic reasoning. It is a walk by sight not by faith strategy which leads to gross error, just like we see with many in the modern day prophetic movement. And like we see with the people associated with the revival in Lakeland Florida. Satan is more than happy to hand you a portal vision or two, some of this stuff is astral projection and transcendental meditation. Although we have His Spirit, we can walk as fools as indicated from the passage directly above.

Have I seen supernatural manifestations? Yes--from both God and the enemy; yet I don’t seek them. I seek Him. He is more than what I can see, touch, taste, or smell. And I can attest to the fact the enemy sends visions and dreams to counterfeit works as of God.

These people—the supposedly enlightened new prophetic—will accept any vision or manifestation coming to them, exclaim “tis God”, and the next day it is packaged at your local Christian bookstore. Then brother so and so posts the vision in their newsletter for a small advertising fee of course or “perhaps beloved, you carry my link on your site?” Jesus told His disciples, “blessed are those who have not seen, yet believed”. He called them “blessed”. We walk by faith, not by sight:

II Corinthians 4:18

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

The “enlightened prophetic” will read this and say “thou doth not understand the prophetic anointing”. Well, blessed be God, I believe He is raising up prophets not for sale, not serving a god called “prophetic”, who will speak His Word and walk in Truth. The new prophetic movement have become idolatrous amongst themselves.

Exploited: Seed Time And Harvest

Subject: Seed time and harvest. This concept has been exploited to the hilt. A yoke is being thrown around too many people’s necks, and is inducing uncertainty into the hearts of people and down right manipulation by unscrupulous teachers. Yet, some are so deceived, they really don’t know they are manipulating people; they just follow after their deceived mentors.

II Timothy 3:13
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

No where under Jesus ministry was planting money--what is called “a seed” today-- planted so someone could get healing or deliverance from demons! NO WHERE! This thing has been manipulated and twisted to get people to give money to certain ministries, and people move out of fear or just a desire to get an even bigger reward. Too many ministries come up with their own spins, the “latest revelations”, and twist and contort the Word. These false teachers knowingly and unknowingly manipulate people and inject fear into them…the fear that God will not meet their need without them doing something first. And” doing something” usually means doing something for them.

Last year my car went belly up. I had no money to fix it; the transmission was gone along with other stuff. I thought to myself, “I’m stuck”. I did not plant a seed, I did not even pray (although I would have as we should pray for their needs), I did not wear a financial anointing pray cloth (barf bag, please)…I just felt dejected. One hour later, and I do mean literally about an hour after hearing the mechanic’s bad news, surprise, my mother drives up in a nice car I never seen, and said its mine!!! God provided and I planted zip- zero- nada!

Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

The scripture above has also been distorted and manipulated for ill-gotten gain. Yes, God rewards those who give to others, but can we direct to Him how to do it? I can truly say, when I have given money to someone and expected nothing, or when no one saw me give to a person or cause, that’s when I have seen the greatest rewards. I have got rewarded when I did something just because it was the right thing to do, nor was I calculating a harvest. I am not patting myself on the back here, I am talking about being rightly motivated and not be motivated just so I can get blessed. Should we be motivated out of compassion or because we expect a “100 fold blessing”?

The Lord knows I fell for this “plant a seed to get a miracle” too often.. I erroneously planted money various times (for several years after I got saved), because I believed the hogwash from false teachers saying your miracle will manifest if you plant a seed. These people usually point to Elijah and the woman and the cruse of oil account:

I Kings 17:10-16

8 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,
9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.
10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
11 And as she was going to fetch it , he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.
12 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but a handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
14 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.
15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke by Elijah.

Tada…spin and twirl it around and your ministry’s television and radio bills are paid and good to go! Come forth with your financial offering first, then God will meet your need…a greedy and manipulative lie. But in all fairness, many preaching this really believe it themselves. It still doesn’t excuse it. No where did you see Jesus demand money for someone to get healed, to get fed, to get delivered or to get saved! Consider Peter’s rebuke of Simon the sorcerer.

Acts 8:18

18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

Many people today are trying to sell the gifts of God. Things Jesus has already purchased for us. People also take Galatians 6:7, twist it around, when it is referring sowing to the Spirit versus the flesh.

Is it possible for God to command you to do something, and reward you for obedience? Sure, it happens occasionally. But is it biblical to imply or say a seed must always be planted for what the blood of Jesus Christ has already purchased? Funny, the ones teaching this are the beneficiaries of such seeds.

What about brother so and so? Sister so and so… planted $100 to Pimp Peddling Ministries and got $10,000. Yeah, what a batting average I say, one per 30,000. Something doesn’t add up here. But I guarantee it, you sure will hear about it, and not the other 29,999. It will be a feature story in next month’s magazine.

Mr. Prophet: Do you suppose the 29,999 lacked faith? My ministry carries a financial anointing and any seed you plant into Pimp Peddling Ministries will do triple somersaults times 150 fold.

Luke 17:7-10

7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not.
10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Perhaps when we give, we should consider that maybe it was our duty to do so, and not expect to be rewarded for what is required of us. God will look after us, and He will reward us in His own way.

Florida Healing Outpouring

Just read this article today about the healing revival in Lakeland, Florida. I think it is well rounded and goes into a bit of history too about how some of this revival came about. Another thing to note, is how the major players are very connected together as you read various articles. Again, it is the Word of God along with His Spirit which will give us discernment when it comes to dealing with falsehoods.

Healing Revival In Lakeland Florida

Subject-- Great Healing Revival of Lakeland Florida.

The more I read and see about what is happening there, the more I am convinced seducing and deceptive spirits are at play. As I have often stated, I believe in supernatural healing (and it should be from God), and I have experienced miracles in my own life. Nor am I opposed to revival. However, this thing is more akin to a circus than a revival, and it sort of reminds me of business opportunity seminars conducted by the internet marketing players. I am not opposed to any real move of God, but by all indications, the Lakeland revival has been orchestrated by greedy and idolatrous people. And instead of healing, or an impartation as so fondly put; people may be traveling back with a larger party than they came with---being demonic spirits have been “released” to them. Nevertheless, God is merciful, and hopefully some really got healed; most likely before or after they arrive there simply because their eyes were on Him.

Step right up world. See people who think barking like dogs and clucking like a chickens saying “What a glorious move of God”. Wow, a glory cloud with the fragrance of BBQ…(most likely wiring from an overblown amplifier or perhaps an impartation of demonic gas from the spirit realm. ). Roll on the floor and lay prostrate, legs up in the air looking obscene like a “highway armadillo”. Cluck and flap, til your elbows knock out three people. The world looks and says “no thanks. Ah, you say, they see the healings. Do they?

Naturally these deceived ones know what to say, “To God be all the Glory…glory, glory… Yes, He is Glorious---precisely my point.

WOW…what a line up of the major prophetic and apostolic players! “God has to be moving in an awesome way,” they say “for we are all here”!!! Some may be so far gone as to say “We are a glorious manifestation of His power!” Brother so and so is here!. Sister so and so is here! Sapphire dust and Crisco oil dvds are here, and are on sale in the foyer! Outrageous. Their hands are unclean.

Psalms 24: 3-4
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

What…do you believe such a thing could not happen? Actually, in this case, if it did happen, it was from devils, but myself, I believe the fellow was probably squeezing something in his fists. And I would not want to be him standing before the King of Kings giving account for it. And if they videotaped it (and one must ask why) would you not release such a documented miracle for the whole world to see so it would believe on Jesus Christ instead of pimping it off?

They will read this and say “jealousy” “Jezebel” “No discernment”…you know, the regular rigmarole. Why I had a dream, I had a visitation, I had a prophetic word, it was confirmed by three other deceived prophets ….

Don’t shove the voice of His Spirit aside. I honestly believe God will use this revival to reveal greed in the Church, and error in the apostolic prophetic movement. It goes without saying the ones who will refuse to look at this with a discerning eye, are so deceived, they no longer care for the Truth. It may mean giving up their roles, their ministries, or making a significant change in their ministry. There are a lot of false prophets out there, who I believe are drowning in deception. I also think there is a sector who are not so deceived, yet knowingly engage in utter falsehood. Being God He can make something good come out of this mess, and that may be bringing this issue affront to the Church.

"Gee. Do You think I can be a prophet one day even if I am not called, like some of these?"

The New Apostolic Prophetic Movement

I have been educating myself on the apostolic prophetic movement. Something is most definitely wrong with it, and it is apparent to me that it has become an idolatrous self-serving machine. These are suppose to be church leaders? I am talking about the “New Apostolic Reformation” crowd and all its constituents who partake in this mess. They have created their own doctrine to justify doing a “new thing”... “their thing”.

There are some true apostles and prophets out there. Most of them (not all) you will never hear about, as they are busy doing a work for God as opposed to promoting themselves or hanging out with like-kind. Nor should we go by blanket assertion of all apostles and prophets, although for simplicity’s sake, I will exclude referring to the real to complete this blog entry.

I left an apostolic prophetic ministry a few months ago, and had I done my homework thoroughly, I would had never hooked up to this ministry. Always take an intense look at the groups a ministry is aligned to. This was first and foremost the greatest mistake I made. The second was being too forgiving of doctrinal error. I don’t believe anyone is 100% in the know, if you believe you are, you’ve got a pride problem. We all grow and learn, but lately we have seen accounts of gross and excess error, and dangerous error at that.

I leave myself open to change, and open to correction. I have noticed most of the apostolic and prophetic crowd believe they are beyond admonishment and correction. They are obstinate and belligerent when it comes to discussing error on their part, and their groupies act the same. Close minded and resistant to any calm discussion. Nevertheless, if they know Jesus Christ, I have hope for them and will earnestly pray for them.

These modern day apostles and prophets spend most of their time exalting the apostolic and the prophetic. They have become a legend in their own minds, and they literally cannot get enough of themselves. And sadly, they are leading a lot of people into grievous error. And they are also targeting young people and leading them into grievous error.

Is it of no surprise when you point out their error and falseness, they immediately accuse you of having a religious spirit? They will assert “tis the spirit of Jezebel”. Anyone not in agreement with their doctrinal error and demonic manifestations will be accused of having a religious mindset. It’s a cop-out and a demonically inspired defense mechanism; but because they are so deceived, they rarely if ever entertain the possibility of being deceived. They have shoved aside the voice of the Holy Spirit over and over; they now hear the enemy and what they want to hear. They will assert anyone opposed to them must not believe in the supernatural. I believe in it, and I can tell you right now, give me the real deal and not the counterfeit. I will seek Him and if He gives me a supernatural experience from Him, so be it. If not, so be it. They come to rely on faulty revelations, visitations, dreams, more than the Word. And they add and add to it. And they glorify themselves for it. They say 'we yearn for these encounters because it draws us closer to God'. Not if it is deception from the enemy. Not if He becomes secondary in the process. And not if it is about “see how chosen I am”.

Sapphire dust and Crisco oil, angelic encounters of the worst kind anyone? Their bogus third heaven experiences scream “look at me, I have arrived and I can impart a pound of deceptive hogwash to you for the low price of $29.95 per cd, $45.00 for dvd. Some of this stuff is so rigged, it would be down right laughable if it were not so crooked and so demonically engineered. Do third heaven experiences happen? We know from the Word they do, but should one seek them expressively out, or should we allow God to grant such an experience to us for His purposes? God is handing these people over to their idolatrous gods, and giving them what they truly crave, and what they crave is demonically inspired. It’s more about them, their supernatural encounters, than it is about Him. Yet they think it’s about Him. As long as it looks good, sounds good, it most be God? Right? No WRONG!!!

Would satan be so obvious as to deceive these people with blatant lies, or would he be subtle about it? Would he not come quoting the Word as he did to Jesus when He was fasting in the wilderness? Would he not lift his rotten hands up in the air, and say “we give homage to you Lord”. Could he not say “Jesus my King?” The new apostolic prophetic movement has become like a seemingly wondrous long banquet table with really good looking and tasting food, but each dish contains one drop of arsenic. Just enough to kill you, and possibly send you to Hell. Thanks but no thanks.

Matthew 7:13-23
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The Word of God must be our gage in these things. Secondly, we need to stop shoving the voice of the Holy Spirit aside when He prompts us that something is awry. Do these people remind you of the apostle Paul or of a power and money hungry apostolic prophetic dictatorship? And now they read, and say “doth not in submission to authority”. Even in my limited knowledge, I never went chasing experiences, or exalted apostles and prophets as if they were gods. Yes, my former mentor knows far more Word than I, has an established ministry, and has all kinds of “third heaven experiences”.… I rather have limited knowledge of truth then a big plate of falsehood any day, but we all should endeavor to be studious in the Word. These people are in love more with the apostolic and prophetic, third heaven experiences brought to them by devils, than they are with the Lord Jesus Christ. And did not the Lord say “If you love me, keep my commands”. It’s not just a feeling.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

2 John 1: 6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

Exploitation, manipulation, greed, liars, lust have too often characterized this bunch. Is that keeping His commandment? You say there are no perfect people. True. But as Christians we out to at least out do the world on these issues.

They are not interested in His commands, they are interested in “prophetic revelation”, gold dust, and thrill seeking. Interested in cranking out cds and dvds. Interested in going from seminar to seminar. Interested in making big time bucks off of meetings. Interested in telling so and so about their dream, so that it hits the popular prophetic and apostolic newsletters. Interested in people looking up at them all big eyed, saying ‘I need a word from the Lord’. Interested in selling dream interpretations and putting money into ill-gotten bank accounts. Interested in having all the major players on a stage at one time, so its more power packed as if the Almighty God needed help. Interested in selling prayers clothes to kill your loved ones off with an “anointing” straight from Hell. Interested in autographing their books which contain a coupon for 2% off their latest cd. Interested in building provocative myspace pages, exchanging and purchasing advertisements off each other’s websites, and promoting their latest revelation. Interested in marketing goofy music and art, like really prophetic you know. And yet, the Lord is still there, and I believe He will help anyone to see who wants to see return to Truth.
